Skyward Dance Studio

FAITH • PASSION • PURPOSE

A place for dancers to grow in skill, confidence, friendship, faith, and their love for dance.

Whether your dancer is stepping into a studio for the very first time or has years of experience, we want Skyward to be a place where they feel welcomed, encouraged, challenged, and excited to dance.

North Branch, Minnesota

More Than Just a Dance Studio

At Skyward Dance Studio, we believe dance can be so much more than learning steps and performing routines.

Our vision is to create a community where dancers can develop their skills, build meaningful friendships, grow in confidence, and experience the joy and purpose that comes from using the gifts God has given them.

We want our dancers to work hard and challenge themselves, but we also want them to laugh, make memories, encourage one another, and genuinely look forward to coming to dance each week.

Whether your dancer is a beginner exploring dance for the first time or an experienced dancer looking for a positive, faith-centered community, there is a place for them at Skyward.

Explore Different Styles

Our dancers have opportunities to experience a variety of dance styles throughout their training, including:

Jazz • Hip Hop • Lyrical • Contemporary • Tap

Classes and styles vary depending on age and level, giving dancers opportunities to discover what they love while becoming more versatile and confident performers.

Competition Line

Challenge Yourself. Encourage Others. Shine Your Light.

Skyward's Competition Line gives dancers the opportunity to take their training and performances beyond the studio. Competition dancers receive extended training, learn routines throughout the season, and have the opportunity to perform their dances for judges and audiences at dance competitions.

While we love watching our dancers perform and succeed, winning is not the heart of our competition program. Our goal is to make competition an enjoyable experience where dancers can challenge themselves, work toward goals, grow as performers, support their teammates, and confidently share the gifts they have been given.

We want our dancers to step onto the competition stage ready to shine their light — regardless of what award they take home.

Meet Chloe

Chloe Kavanagh — Owner & Instructor

Hi! I'm Chloe, the owner and instructor at Skyward Dance Studio.

Dance has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began dancing at a studio when I was six years old and eventually started Skyward when I was just 16 years old.

I started Skyward because I wanted to create a place where students could truly be themselves, dance with joy, and know that what they were doing could have purpose.

Along with owning and teaching at Skyward, I am the Head Coach of the North Branch Dance Team and teach homeschool co-op classes at Rise Up in Forest Lake.

My heart for Skyward has always been about more than choreography or technique. I love watching dancers gain confidence, discover what they're capable of, build friendships, challenge themselves, and find joy in dancing.

Dance is incredibly fun — and I believe it's even better when we can use it for the glory of God!

The Sky Isn't the Limit. It's Just the Beginning.

Come discover a place where dancers can grow, belong, have fun, and dance with purpose.
